I am writing to my blog for the third time after I created it about 2 weeks ago. I will have to post my messages by email. Unfortunately I don't have a chance to use my blog as other participants do, because of some problems with the local Internet service provider. I can't see other people's posts, but can read the comments through my email, which I appreciate a lot!!!!!!!
The offered topic for this week discussion was great. What I liked about it most of all was that I learnt some valuable information about the ways and sources of web searching I can use in my teaching practice as well as my personal academic research. Another idea I liked a lot, presented by our instructors, was writing objective experience. As far as I am concerned, practice always leads to better understanding.
I started one of my Nicenet postings this week with the saying "The more I learn, the more I understand I know nothing". The 2nd week has already passed and I 100% support this statement.
I am lucky to be a part of our team because the participants, by sharing their ideas and thoughts which are very creative, experienced and active, inspire me for better learning and participating+
Thank you all,
Yours,
Luba
Dear Lybov,
ReplyDeleteHow true, the more we learn, the more we understand we know nothing.
Or I would say, he more we understand there is so much more to know.
But we should give ourselves some time, take a deep breath and little by little you will notice that patterns of meaningful links between things we are now observing will start to appear.
I hope problems with your ISP will be resolved soon.
Best regards from Croatia,
Andreja
Dear Luba,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you cannot see the posts and you can't use your blog. I hope it will be sorted soon.
I agree with you and Andreja, there really is so much to learn and no matter how hard we work we can still learn just a small portion of it. That's why courses like this are important, because they focus on the most important aspects, the things we must know. They give us the basics and the directions and it's up to us whether we will follow them and discover other things by ourselves. Equally important is the communication between us, because we all have something to give to the others and receive something else in return. That's why we should keep in touch, share our experiences and help each other, so that we can all grow together both personally and professionally.
All the best,
Nina
